１. 教 典

キリスト教の教典は「聖書」です。
聖書は、旧約聖書(39巻)と新約聖書(27巻)の二部から構成されて、合わせて66巻からなる書物です。

旧約聖書は、紀元前1400年頃から約1000年間にわたって、神とイスラエル民族との歴史、救い主なるメシヤ(イエス・キリスト)の到来の約束、さらに未来の預言を描いた書物です。
おもにヘブル語とアラム語で書かれて、その一部はユダヤ教やイスラム教の経典ともなっています。

新約聖書は、紀元1世紀の中頃から書かれています。
その内容は、イエス・キリストの誕生から復活までの33年半の生涯や、キリストとしての教え、教会の誕生と発展、やがて来る未来の預言などが記されています。

聖書はクリスチャン、そうではない人にも親しまれており、永遠のベストセラーと言われてどの書籍よりも多くの人々に読まれています。
また、自国の言葉で読めるように2,300以上の言語に翻訳されて、人類に励ましと慰めを与え続けている書物なのです。


1. Scripture

The scripture of Christianity is the "Bible."
The Bible is composed of two parts: the Old Testament (39 books) and the New Testament (27 books), making it a collection of 66 books in total.

The Old Testament was written over a period of about 1,000 years, beginning around 1400 BC. It chronicles the history between God and the people of Israel, the promise of the coming Savior, the Messiah (Jesus Christ), and prophecies concerning the future.
It was primarily written in Hebrew and Aramaic, and parts of it also serve as sacred texts for Judaism and Islam.

The New Testament was written starting around the middle of the 1st century AD.
Its contents record the 33-and-a-half-year earthly life of Jesus Christ from His birth to His resurrection, His teachings as Christ, the birth and development of the Church, and prophecies of the days to come.

The Bible is deeply cherished by Christians and non-Christians alike. Known as the all-time bestseller, it has been read by more people than any other book.
Furthermore, it has been translated into more than 2,300 languages so that people can read it in their own mother tongue, continuing to bring encouragement and comfort to all humanity.

２. もっとも大切なメッセージ

キリスト教は「愛の宗教」と言われます。その「愛」とは具体的にどういうことなのでしょうか？

聖書によると、神様が最初の人間アダムとエバを創造されて、その夫婦から子孫が増えて人間社会が形成されていきました。神の愛によって人は命を楽しむことができるようになったのです。人は創造者なる神様に従う者であるべきなのに、食べてはいけないと命じられた「善悪の知識の木」の実を、アダムとエバは食べて神に敵対する者となってしまったのです。
これを「原罪」といいます。
人は生まれながらに罪ある者として人生を歩むことになりました。
罪をもっている者は裁かれなければなりません。人は堕落してしまったゆえに、死をむかえ、義なる神の裁きを受け、そして地獄へ行かなければならない存在となったのです。しかし、愛の神はそのような罪ある人間を救いたいと願いから、たったひとつの救いの道を差しのべてくださいました。

それが「イエス・キリストの十字架と復活」なのです。

神様であるイエス・キリストは自らこの地上に来られました。そして、真の神と救いの道について人々に語られたのです。33年半の人生を歩まれて、その最後は死刑でした。当時のもっとも残酷な刑であった十字架刑。
私たち一人ひとりの罪をあがなうために身代わりとなって罰を受けてくださったのです。
ここに神の愛が示されたのです。たしかにイエス・キリストは死にましたが、神の力によって三日目によみがえられたのです。
これは実際に起きた出来事であり事実であり奇蹟なのです。

2. The Most Important Message

Christianity is often called the "religion of love." But what, exactly, does this "love" mean?

According to the Bible, God created the first humans, Adam and Eve, and from this couple, descendants multiplied to form human society. Through God's love, humanity was made able to enjoy life. Although humans were meant to walk in obedience to God their Creator, Adam and Eve ate from the fruit of the "Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil"—which they had been commanded not to eat—and thus turned themselves into enemies of God. This is what is known as "Original Sin."

As a result, human beings began to walk through life born with a sinful nature. Those who carry sin must face judgment. Because humanity had fallen, they became beings destined to face death, receive the judgment of a righteous God, and ultimately go to hell. However, out of His desire to save such sinful humans, the God of love extended the one and only way of salvation.

That is "the Cross and Resurrection of Jesus Christ."

Jesus Christ, who is God Himself, came down to this earth in person. He spoke to the people about the true God and the path to salvation. After walking this earth for thirty-three and a half years, His earthly life ended in execution—by crucifixion, the most brutal form of punishment at the time. He took the punishment upon Himself, becoming our substitute to atone for the sins of each and every one of us.

This is where the love of God was demonstrated. Although Jesus Christ truly died, He was raised back to life on the third day by the power of God. This is a historical event that actually took place—a living fact and a profound miracle.

３. 教 会

現在もイエス・キリストを信じる人は世界中で増加しています。ある統計では23億人を超えるクリスチャンがいるとのことです。クリスチャンたちは、自分のような罪人を神様は愛しておられ、赦してくださり、天国へつれて行かれることを喜んでいます。毎週日曜日に集まり礼拝を心からささげているのです。この神様に礼拝をささげることが、クリスチャンの信仰生活の中でもっとも大切なことなのです。
また、教会はまだクリスチャンではない方のためにも開かれているのです。
それは、教会を通してイエス・キリストにある素晴らしい救いと平安を受けとっていただくためであります。

ぜひ、あなたもこの素晴らしい救いにあずかって、いっしょに神様へ礼拝をささげてください。

『神は霊ですから、神を礼拝する者は、霊とまことによって礼拝しなければなりません。』

3. The Church

Even today, the number of people who believe in Jesus Christ continues to increase worldwide. According to some statistics, there are now over 2.3 billion Christians globally. Christians rejoice in the truth that God loves sinners like themselves, has forgiven them, and will bring them to heaven. Gathering every Sunday, they offer sincere worship from their hearts. Offering worship to this God is the most important aspect of a Christian's life of faith.
Furthermore, the church is also open to those who are not yet Christians. This is so that through the church, you may receive the wonderful salvation and peace found in Jesus Christ. We truly invite you to partake in this wonderful salvation and offer worship to God together with us.
